It's over anticipated. For chemistry between leads you get a taste near the start but it doesn't really kick in until around an hour into the movie. Both leads feel slightly plastic but at times the cracks in those fronts starts to show and that improves the movie. At times the plastic also plays into the movies plotline slightly, but when Powell lets down his guard around an hour in there is actually some decent acting elevating the movie as chemistry becomes more palpable. Supporting cast mostly performs, maybe slightly over the top at a few times but with the relaxed attitudes within the movie it doesn't break the situations. For those who are movie buffs a couple of very familiar faces will also appear.
All in all a good romcom for a rainy weekend with a powell that we might see more of if he continues to lower the front and connect his acting with actual emotions as well as can be seen at a couple of times.
