The fiftieth season presents new funny events, as Big Bird wants to visit Cousin Bird in California. It is still difficult since he knows that the walk is too far. Now, Nina proposes a wild trip across the country and they may be able to stop while on the road to meet new friends along the way. On the other hand, Cookie Munster and Gonger work as a team against Grover and Alan in a competition to find out that the best bread someone who can bake a birthday cake for Nina.
